Group dining at Brinkburn is a unique opportunity to gather and savour the finest locally sourced ingredients, with every dish thoughtfully curated by our resident chef, Tom Rookes of The Elder Tree.

Focused on creating delicious and meaningful food experiences using ingredients from the estate; its game, fish, wild plants and honey. Formerly of Restaurant Pine, Tom's food blends bright acidity and freshness with the satisfying heartiness of live fire cooking to serve you dishes ranging from the simple and hearty to the elegant and delicate. Tom will be laying on a range of events including community feasts, weddings, corporate retreats, in-cottage dining and private hire.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to introduce a new dining experience, working with a private dining chef to provide a bespoke menu tailored to your special day.
We use only the best of locally sourced ingredients, ensuring every catered element is perfectly designed for your big day.
Our wedding breakfasts are provided by Tom, formerly of Restaurant Pine in Northumberland. Tom will personally reach out to you to design your wedding breakfast menu together.
