Fabulous country pubs serving local ales and heart lunches and award-winning restaurants, take a look at Amble which is quickly becoming a seaside go-to for seafood lovers

Jump in the car for the Newcastle Christmas Market which runs from November 16th to December 16

The International Christmas Market will take place at Grey’s Monument, Grey Street and Grainger Street. This year – get ready for an even bigger, festive experience as the traditional International and local Newcastle Markets combine forces for a month-long extravaganza in the heart of Newcastle!

A short drive away is The Alnwick Garden, with a jam packed festive events diary

A real festive treat with events and activities throughout November and December, our absolute favourite being The Grands Lantern Parade which this year takes place on November 24th

If you have never been before, this is a magical live music, light and movement spectacular. The procession will make its way through The Alnwick Garden and into Alnwick Town creating a spectacular visual feast for visitors and it will all be led by the big man himself, Father Christmas!
